Everyone should be split in half

... and why this has many issues.

Yes, I am talking about a TV show this time. Severance, to be precise. Why you would say? because I believe two things in regards of this. First, everyone should be paying attention to AppleTV+ shows (not necessary via their subscription, wink wink) and second, because this show is so good that 3 years after the release of the first season people are still invested and new fans appear each day.

Now, this will be kind of a review and kind of a recommendation, so I will not give any details on the show that could be considered spoilers, but I will try my best to intrigue you enough that you would want to watch it.

Let me tell you what this show is about. Imagine there is a way to block all the time you spend working from your memories. Like, completely block it, meaning you do not remember anything that happened between your work hours but you also cannot remember anything from your daily outside life when you are working. Well, that is the plot from Severance in a nutshell, sounds interesting right?

If that is not enough, the show is produced by Ben Stiller, with some episodes directed by him. You may remember him from movies like Zohan or the Night at the Museum trilogy. In addition to that, the show has amazing visuals, if you are someone who likes that, this show will likely deliver.

Think of any TV Show that releases weekly, that gets you wanting more at the end of the newest chapter, that every time something happens, new theories arise and other ones fall. Severance will do this and you will want answers, sometimes you will get them and sometimes you won't, at least not immediately, you will be re-watching it to look for details and you will get, hopefully, invested into everything that the show is.

I can certainly say that I got very invested and wasn't expecting what I ended up watching, any of it, I was hooked on the premise, gave it a chance and 3 years later, I am here, trying to convince you to give it a chance and see the beautiful work that this show is from multiple standpoints. Either because of the visuals, which are astounding, the audio, beautifully mixed, the story or simply because you trust me a little and you want to see for yourself if I exaggerated or if this is really the gem I told you it was.

I really hope his came up as the review I expected to write and I somehow convinced you to give it a chance. Please please please let me know if you've watched because of this post and let's chat about it because it is amazing and deserves all it's praises.
